Dječja knjižnica Pula u sklopu programa R.E.A.D. ® Čitaj (o) psu © osniva 2014. godine “Klub hvatača slova” za djecu koja malo manje vole čitati, a posebnost programa je što čitaju terapijskim psima Udruge za pet therapy Indeficienter Vinkuran (UPTIV). Time je postala prva knjižnica u Hrvatskoj koja provodi ovaj program. Klub Hvatača slova osmislila je vrijedna knjižničarka pedagoginja Vlasta Sošić iz Dječje knjižnice Pula. Program se provodi drugi petak i posljednji petak u mjesecu, te je otvoren za svu djecu.
Children’s Library Pula as part of the R.E.A.D ® Čitaj (o) psu © project, founded in 2014. the “Club for letters catcher” ideated for children who read less and don’t feel comfortable reading. The specialty of the program is that the child reads to the therapy dog registered within the Association for pet therapy Indeficienter Vinkuran (UPTIV) which is part of AAA – Animal Assisted Activities. This became the first library in Croatia to implement this program. “Club for letters catcher” was created by the valuable librarian Vlasta Šaina Sošić from the Children’s Library Pula. The program is on the second Friday and last Friday in the month, all children are welcome to participate.
